2024 Education Course

 

A 5 day accredited training course

 for Development and Reproductive Toxicity (DART) was run 5-9th February Antwerp, Belgium. 2024

 

 Aims/objectives: High quality teaching on all aspects of reproductive and developmental toxicology for toxicologists working in academia or industry. Specific course topics are: Male and female reproductive physiology; early embryonic development; cellular and molecular processes in early development; cardiovascular development; gastrointestinal development; respiratory development; neurobehavioural development; craniofacial development; fertility testing; developmental toxicity testing; PPND and juvenile toxicity testing; PK/ADME during pregnancy /lactation; risk assessment; endocrine disruption; new approaches and methodologies.

 

Purpose:There are no detailed reproductive and developmental toxicology training courses for regulatory toxicologists ran in Europe despite this specialist field being a critical area of regulatory toxicology. As the largest society for developmental and reproductive toxicologists in Europe, the European Teratology Society aims to rectify the situation by providing a high quality training course for education purposes.
