
Bologna (Emilian and Romagnol: BulÄggna) is the capital and largest city of Emilia-Romagna in Northern Italy. It has about 400,000 inhabitants.


Bologna is served by an international airport which is located to the North West of the city (BLQ) linked with a train station and public transport on the north of the city while the conference is being held in the Department of History, Culture and Civilization, Piazza San Giovanni in Monte 2 to the South East of the Centre.

The central train station can be reached by public transport from the airport via Train, Bus and private hire Taxi.

The train station is also served by trains from other major cities in Italy.
The ETS 2024 meeting is not taking place in a specific hotel so there is no specific conference hotel.
