The European Teratology Society is looking for new Council Members!

 

Are you working in the reproductive toxicology field and would you like to be involved in organizing the annual ETS meeting and biennial Education Course, compiling the annual ETS-Elsevier Reproductive Toxicology Special Issue, and get to know more people in the field?

Join the ETS as a Council Member!

We are currently looking for new Council Members starting in September, for a term of 3 years.

Terms and conditions for council members:

Council Members shall serve for a term of three years and shall not be eligible for re-election as a Council Member for two years after retiring or being removed from office.

  • The Secretary and the Treasurer shall serve for a term of four years and may be re-elected.
  • The Vice President will serve for a term of two years before assuming the office as President for a further two years.

Elections
Officers and Council Members shall be elected by a ballot of all Society Members, including Emeritus and Honorary Members. The ballot will be completed each year in time for the results to be announced at the AGM. A request for nominations will be posted on the website at the beginning of each year. When more than one nomination is received for any vacancy, details of those nominations and instructions on the voting procedure will be posted on the website and the membership notified by e-mail.

In the event of insufficient nominations to cover vacancies, the Council will co-opt members of the Society as necessary.


The incoming Officers and other Members of the Council shall be installed at the final item of business at each General meeting, and their term of office shall begin immediately thereafter.
