Why Join the ETS
The European Teratology Society (ETS) is a multidisciplinary scientific society created in 1971. Society members focus on the causes and prevention of adverse effects on reproduction and development.
Our mission is to protect pregnant women and children against potential hazards.

The ETS annual membership fee is €75 per year.
How to Join the ETS
People are encouraged to join the ETS, and we are actively looking to recruit the next generation of Society members. Applications to join can be done through the new website as the previous paper application system is being retired.
- Complete a registration with the new website
- Complete the contact form at the bottom of this webpage
- You can either nominate two existing ETS members to support your application - they will be contacted on your behalf by the Secretary of the ETS
- or you can submit a Curriculum Vitae to be reviewed by the committee
- All completed applications will be reviewed at the monthly meeting of the ETS committee (occurs generally in the last week of the month)
- The ETS members will be informed of the name and occupation of the potential applicants and will have 30 days to feedback to the committee
- At the next committee meeting the feedback will be discussed and the applicant will be informed of the ETS's discussion.
- Successfull applicants will be directed to a link to allow them to complete the application by generating an invoice for €75 for annual membership.
