Dr Christopher James Bowman

Profile:
Chris has over 25 years’ experience in developmental and reproductive toxicology (DART). Chris completed his PhD in 2001 from the University of Florida. After a 2-year post-doc at CIIT in North Carolina he served as a DART study director for 5 years at WIL Research Laboratories (now CRL-ASH). Since 2008 Chris has been a DART subject matter expert and study director at Pfizer in Groton, Connecticut. Chris served on the ICH S5R3 EWG, as past president of the Reproductive & Developmental Toxicology Specialty Section of SOT, and on the BioSafe Leadership Committee. He is currently an Associate Editor of Birth Defects Research, Industry Chair of the HESI DART Technical Committee, and Council member of BDRP and ETS. Chris has been Board certified in Toxicology (Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology) since 2005 and has over 65 publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
